New gig

A couple of weeks ago, I got hired by Citi to work online. I did my training and for the past couple of weeks I have been taking calls for citi customers. Most of the calls are regarding refinancing or customers wanting to get a second loan on their property, or wanting to know about Government Assisted Programs etc. It's an easy job and I really really am having fun working with West. My 1st gig with them did not last as long as I had expected it to be, because there were no available hours on spectrum. After waiting for a couple of weeks, I handed in my resignation and now they've given me a new skill, which is with Citi Group. With the current economic downturn and the low interest rates on mortgages, people are calling in all the time, so they can refinance their property. Most calls are easy to handle because it's all scripted. If nothing fits the needs of the callers, an agent can transfer them to Citi 1-800 xxx and pick their options from there. Some days an agent can get 1 or 2 callers who may have got up from the wrong side of their bed, and the only way to handle this kind of call is to apologize profusely or if it doesn't work that way, we do have Supervisors who can be contacted online. Most time, I would try to resolve any issues myself.

Guitar Hero

Anyone heard of guitar hero?Guitar Hero is a series of music video games first published in 2005 by Redoctane and distributed by Activision in which players use a guitar-shaped peripheral to simulate the playing of lead and bass guitar across numerous rock music songs. It was a mid-friday morning that we (my husband and I) went to Jamal's house to deliver our computer hard drive that had crashed. Jamal is a computer geek who ALWAYS helps us with our computer issues. Like all of you out there, we (my husband, our son and I), goes on the computer every day, and with one computer down, all 3 of us have to fight over one lap-top, and it's bad!! Anyway, when we arrived at Jamal's house, he was busy doing electrical rewiring in the basement. It was supposed to be a short stop at his house, but Jamal and my dear husband starts jammin' to Metallica with Jamal on the drums and unfortunately my dear husband was struggling with his guitar, but managed to give it a second try and did fairly well. I got bored watching them play, and so was Jamal's cat. As you can see from the pictures below, the cat was totally unimpressed by their loud music. The cat even sat on a stool, looking bored to death!! hahaha.

April showers bring, Well you know!

They say April 's showers bring May flowers... but not so...

Thank God, Friday was a snow day replacement day instead of Good Friday holiday for Ramzi. We have been having soaking rain storm and tornado warnings throughout the week. As for high water, I do not expect more than some nuisance street flooding as storm culverts back up in the heavier downpours. Looks like gusty winds will accompany especially the nighttime rains, so it will take a sturdy umbrella to combat the rains. The soaking rains will taper to lighter showers, though a brisk wind will assure a cool and damp start to the day. By the way, the pattern is set for the whole of this week. A healthy rain storm every 2 or 3 days so I expect April rains to be above normal. April brides beware of outdoor receptions though May weddings will feature breathtaking floral bouquets thanks to all the rain!! The next rain storm is due in by the weekend with scattered thunderstorms with probably some winds and hail will be possible. TOO SOON TO PINPOINT. The great thing about all this is that, it's starting to warm up.
