Eating out at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

A couple of months ago, I went out with 3 of my best buddies or rather ex-colleagues to Hacienda Mexican Restaurant at 1st Ave. In reality, I've never been to any of those popular Mexican Restaurants around town because my dear husband just didn't care for the food, (he have never been to one, and it's like him assuming that Mexican Restaurant is all about spices and food being spicy! haha).

To be on the safe side, before going out with my friends, I went online to check their menu, and to my amazement, there's plenty of choice for everyone — from appetizers, soups and salads to burritos, fajitas, chimichangas, quesadillas and so much more! Apart from that diners have all the free chips and salsa you can possibly eat.

What I ate was a plateful of crisp-fried potato skins which are topped with cheese, diced tomatoes, jalapeƱo peppers and sour cream. It was super de-li-cious!

Here's how it looks like minus the beef (picture taken from Hacienda's website.)

Below, pictures I took while we were at Hacienda.

There's a Mexican restaurant in our little town called La Hacienda. Been a long while since I ate there.

I prefer to eat at Chilli's and On the border because there are a lot more meat dishes there. My tummy cannot take too much beans and cheese!! :-)
